Sonja Simone Albert

Not only at first glance, one would be convinced that Sonja Simone Albert is a skilled Photographer and nonetheless her only medium is oil paint and canvas. Albert very elaborately conveys an air of lightness in her paintings and while her masterful understanding of depth of field gives her works a highly photographic feel, her painterly ductus adds an otherwise inarchievable depth.
