In June 2024, a devastating storm caused severe damage in the Val Bavona and Val Lavizzara valleys in Ticino. Much of the destruction has still not been repaired.
Funds are still being raised to rebuild bridges, roads and buildings. The Galleria Sacchetti is therefore organising a large sales exhibition to support the reconstruction efforts. Over 40 artists from Ticino and graduates of the Scuola di Scultura Peccia are participating with one work each.
The proceeds from this exhibition will be donated by the artists and the gallery, and the municipality of Ascona has taken on the patronage of the exhibition. As always, admission to the vernissage on 2 August is open to all and free of charge. Admission to the concert on 9 August costs CHF 30. Tickets via pia@ccaa.ch
