Trasformazione

14.09.–24.11.

Exhibition

Our third exhibition of the year is dedicated to the phenomenon of «Trasformazione». We look at development and change through the eyes of four artists who work in a wide range of media. Following on from our last exhibition, which was all about  distortion, «Trasformazione» as well delves into passive processes of change and the forces associated with them. On the other hand, we put a spotlight  on active, intrinsic transformations and how they in turn influence their environment. Finally, we also assign a not insignificant role to the viewers themselves – look forward to works ranging from sculpture to experimental media to photography.

Impressions

Artists

Simon Berger pushes the boundaries of what is considered ‘feasible’ and is a pioneer at the interface between destruction and construction.

Gaudenz Danuser documents the changes that surround us all, applying the highest standards of his craft and adopting an unusual perspective.

Mirja Wellmann transforms acoustic landscapes into sculptures, inviting us to experience our environment more actively.

In his paintings, Bernardo Peruta plays with the viewer’s perspective at least as much as with it’s change itself.
